Anyone with an Italian Greyhound knows they can be particular – Wilson would sniff a treat, look at me like I'd insulted him, and walk away. I picked up the Duck Hearts after a friend's recommendation, honestly expecting the same verdict. Instead he shoved his whole head in the bag. Three months later the ritual hasn't changed: he hears the cupboard open and he's sitting at attention on the deck, ears out like little wings. I love that they're single-ingredient – just duck – because his lean little frame doesn't cope with rich, processed treats.
